Each June an excitement starts to build all over the country. High schools are filled with conversations beginning with "this will be the last time we..." , and a few with "I can't wait for next year when ...".
By the end of the month these "kids" get all dolled up and party. They get to say good-bye to childhood and look towards the future with hope and anticipation of what is to come.
A few have it all figured out. They know their next path.
Katie is one of those few who have a goal in mind.
She's smart, beautiful and one tough cookie. After eleven years of dance, she jumped into the sport she has loved since she was little. Katie traded her fancy costumes in for shoulder pads and a helmet to be a linebacker.
Congrats Katie on finishing off the last 13 years of school. The world is all yours and I'm sure you'll "tackle" it with grace.
